General Healthcare - P 6,999
Home Service Fee - P999
The General Healthcare Package is a home service blood test recommended for anyone who wants to monitor their overall health and wellness, and who wants a comprehensive evaluation of their blood count, blood sugar, cholesterol, kidney and liver function, urine analysis, electrolytes, total protein, bilirubin, GGT, and CEA (colon), fecal analysis and fecal occult blood (FIT). It can be especially useful for individuals who have a family history of certain conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, or colon cancer, and who want to assess their risk. It can also be beneficial for individuals who want to establish a baseline for their health and track changes over time. Our licensed nurse or medical technologist will collect your samples at your chosen location, making it easy and convenient for you to monitor your health.
A Complete Blood Count measures red and white blood cells, and platelets, which can help identify conditions such as anemia and infection. The ESR test measures the rate of erythrocyte sedimentation, which can indicate inflammation. Fasting Blood Sugar and Glycated Hemoglobin Test (HBA1c) tests measure your blood glucose levels, which can help assess your risk for diabetes. Blood Urea Nitrogen and Creatinine tests assess kidney function. Blood Uric Acid measures the level of uric acid in your blood, which can be elevated in conditions such as gout. Lipid Profile evaluates your cholesterol levels and assesses your risk for heart disease. Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) / Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase (SGOT) / Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alkaline Phosphatase, and GGT are liver function tests that measure levels of enzymes produced by the liver, which can indicate liver damage or disease. Total Protein with A/G Ratio and Bilirubin tests assess liver and blood health. Complete Urinalysis evaluates the physical, chemical, and microscopic characteristics of your urine, which can help identify conditions such as urinary tract infections. Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, and Total Calcium tests measure electrolyte levels in your body. CEA and Fecal Occult Blood tests screen for colon cancer, and Fecalysis evaluates your digestive health.
Reminders: Fast for 10 hours prior to the test, no food or beverages allowed. For Fecal Occult Blood, avoid vitamin C and red meat for 3 days prior to the test.
