About the drip
This cocktail refers to an intravenous vitamin-and-mineral formula that is used to improve a wide range of clinical conditions. Myers’ cocktail has been used to support patients with a host of conditions ranging from immune disorders such as arthritis to chronic fatigue syndrome, sinusitis, gastrointestinal issues, food poisoning, fibromyalgia, and more.

Vitamin C: Protects against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, eye disease, and even improves the appearance of skin.
Calcium: Strengthens bones and prevents osteoporosis. In addition, it protects cardiac muscles, controls blood pressure, prevents premenstrual depression, and helps maintain optimal body weight.
Magnesium: Important aid in calcium absorption and so contributes to overall bone health. Additionally, it decreases the risk of developing diabetes, maintains heart health, prevents and relieves migraines. Helps relieve PMS symptoms, and reduces anxiety.
When should I take it?
Treatment may be done once weekly or once a month for adults who do not have any hypersensitivity to Myer’s Cocktail contents or similar products. Patients with known kidney diseases and with conditions that increase risk of iron accumulation on the body (eg. hemochromatosis) are not allowed to take this service.
Precautions and side effects
Watch out for possible side effects such as pain and swelling at the injection site, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting. If the symptoms persist, please consult your doctor immediately. Patients who receive treatments may experience a sensation of heat, which is likely due to magnesium. Magnesium may also cause lower blood pressure with lightheadedness if administered too rapidly.
Do’s and Don’ts before the procedure
Avoid coffee or alcoholic drinks 24 hours before and after each session. For patients with known comorbidities, medical clearance is needed before each session. Patients with recent vaccinations should have their IV drip session after 1-2 weeks from vaccination date. This is not recommended for breastfeeding mothers.
